Since I'm not at home during Christmas holiday, I have to bring forward the update. But if you like, you can wait with clicking the links until Christmas. ^_^

And here we go with...
1) The annual Christmas card.
2) An Art Nouveau portrait of Aerith. The model can be found here.
3) Six pictures from my newest art calendar. The heroine from "VJ" poses as an art nouveau beauty.
4) A status message for "VJ": the storyboard is developing slowly, but very nicely. I can hardly wait to hold the manga in my hands. *_*
5) Links to my newest discovery, the japanese painter Fuyuko Matsui. Examples of her art here and here. Warning: Her paintings are very beautiful, but quite macabre. Click on your own risk.
6) And finally the good news that I have finished the storyboard for "Sink" chapter 18! I'm going to publish the single scenes during 2011.

News on "VJ": I've started with the storyboard.

News on "Sink": I'm currently working on the last scene for chapter 17.

The first-hour readers might remember: Five years ago, this website went online with "Driven By The Snow", the first chapters of "Sink to the Bottom With You" and some pictures. Thanks a lot to all faithful readers who dropped by since then! And thanks a lot for your encouraging mails! ^_^

Instead of champagne two updates:
Update 1: The next scene of "Sink" chapter 17 (starts with page 405), and...
Update 2: a brand new doujinshi called "Butterfly Symphony" - at least that was the plan.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to finish "Butterfly Symphony" in time, but I will upload it in the next few weeks. ^_^

Important date: Second half of June.

The pictures reveal a new development: It's back to the roots, namely oil chalk. I used this technique for the first two chapters of "Sink To The Bottom With You", but dropped it for the sake of ink and pen because I thought it wasn't "mangaesque" enough. But I had to realize that I cannot escape the charming character of pencil and oil chalk drawings...
